Privacy
Zip Flip has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours between your spreadsheet and the watch.
On the watch
When you open a Zip Flip link, the app downloads the spreadsheet it names straight from Google's servers over HTTPS and keeps a copy on the watch, together with your review progress. Nothing is sent to us. Google sees the request the way it sees any visit to a sheet shared by link.
The app has no analytics and no crash reporting of its own. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
Zip Flip links
A Zip Flip link contains the id of your spreadsheet and nothing else. Anyone who has the link can open the sheet, because that is how you shared it. Share the link the way you would share the sheet.
The link maker on the home page works inside your browser. What you paste there is not sent anywhere.
Children
Zip Flip is made for watches set up for children through Apple Watch For Your Kids. It asks for no name, age, account or contact detail, and it collects nothing from the watch. The spreadsheet belongs to whoever made it, usually a parent.
This website
The site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages. It counts visits with GoatCounter: aggregate page counts, no cookies, no personal data, no tracking across sites. The counting script is served from this site; the count itself is sent to GoatCounter. The fonts are served from this site too.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date, and the change is visible in the project's history on GitHub.
